During the FIFA World Cup 2018, we built and executed the joint Alfa-Bank and Visa social media strategy, blending global star power with local fan engagement. The campaign featured Lionel Messi across promo materials, interactive activations, and special projects that gave fans the chance to win tickets to the championship. We also managed influencer partnerships — organizing bloggers and opinion leaders to attend matches and amplify the campaign. The approach generated huge traction both online and offline — driving the issuance of 100,000+ new co-branded cards during the tournament.
